Americo Manufacturing Company, one of the world’s largest floor pad manufacturers, is pleased to announce that it was selected by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine for the publication’s 13th annual listing of the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100, which highlights “100 Great Supply Chain Projects.” The magazine’s editorial team selected Americo for the results directly related to dynamic and customizable reorder reports, developed by Americo’s Purchasing & Sourcing Manager, Chris Kelcourse. “The new reporting is designed to create dynamic reorder level based on sales history and forecasting change. This initiative will allow Americo to more accurately calculate the orders and compare order points to inventory available, and if necessary, advises an order quantity. The submissions were evaluated by the magazine’s editorial staff, primarily based on: ambitiousness/scope of the project; creative application of technologies/solutions/services used; extent of the business results/impact; and clarity of submission.
